Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to either start your career within the care sector or if you already have experience you can develop your existing skills within a vibrant range of services by joining our team of over 300 support workers.

Norwood delivers high quality services for people of all ages, with different levels of need and ability. Each and every role in Norwood is an essential part of the vital support services we offer. Ravenswood is home to 130 adults with learning disabilities living in 13 registered care homes set in over 120 acres of Berkshire countryside.

We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy working in social care and who are enthusiastic about wanting to help others whilst providing a high standard of care in an efficient, kind and respectful manner. You should also have an understanding of the issues facing those with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will be required to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

You should be able to demonstrate:

o Flexibility, reliability and integrity

o Listening and responsive skills

You should also be:

o Qualified to QCF (NVQ 2) level in social care or have the willingness to work towards this qualification

A driving license and your own transport would be desirable but not essential.

No Experience is necessary as full and on-going training will be provided for this role.
