Job Description


1. Develop and deliver a plan to build on the relationships with existing donors, cultivate potential and new donors, and develop the overall donor journey.

2. Regularly monitor supporters of other ‘competitor' charities and make plans to engage those who are not currently supporting Norwood

3. Work with lay leaders to develop cultivation strategies

4. Keep updated with existing and upcoming capital and revenue projects that can contribute to donor proposals, applications and funding communications.

5. Cross-work with the Philanthropy team, Fundraising, Marketing and other Norwood departments to maximise relationships with Norwood donors/supporters

6. Work closely with the Income and Database team to track and chase unpaid pledges

7. Prepare donor information to provide to trustees, regularly meet trustees and donors and attend service visits

8. Occasional evening and weekend meetings may be required to adhere to the requirements of the philanthropy team
