Job Description

1. Work closely with the YN Manager to implement a strategy that will further Norwood's interests and help meet its fundraising targets.

2. Develop face-to-face relationships with YN prospects, seeking out stewardship and cultivation opportunities to recruit the next generation of YN supporters

3. Develop a relationship with the YN Chair and provide practical support to YN committees and key supporters with a view to increase the number of fundraising activities.

4. Benchmark all YN activities against similar programmes in the Jewish Community and make recommendations to the YN Manager.

5. Provide support to the YN Manager in the development of the YN Patronage programme using existing prospects and new stewardship opportunities.

6. Provide support to the YN Manger for prospecting and communication with the YN Major Donors

7. Develop a competent knowledge base on Norwood's services and organisational culture.

8. Work creatively and in partnership with the Fundraising & Marketing Department to ensure cross selling and integration of individual giving, and challenges.

9. Develop close working relationships with key Norwood trustees, lay leadership and senior management team.

10. Ensure YN donors receive appropriate donor care.

11. Maintain and update database and ensure best use from a prospecting perspective, in compliance with Data Protection legislation.
