Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide full co-ordination and administrative support to the Event Manager and Head of Events on the three largest events within the Fundraising Calendar - Annual Dinner, Property Lunch and YN Property Dinner with excellent attention to detail.

Tasks will include preparation of all event resources such as pledge cards, name badges, managing ticket sales for events, maintaining accurate and up to date records on donors on Raisers Edge, and diarising, attending and preparing for all committee meetings.

To manage all post event administration, including payment of suppliers, guest thank you letters and pledge chasers, keeping the Event Manager/Head of Events regularly updated on outstanding income, costs and any payment issues.

To work with internal and external committees and stakeholders. Tasks will include the organisation of volunteers to help with administrative tasks, co-ordinating service visits where necessary and working with event chairs and committees for corporate events.

Develop personable relationships with the Annual Dinner Chair, key Trustees and all dinner table hosts, liaising with them to reconfirm their annual hosting commitment, providing accurate and frequent updates on guest status.

Provide regular updates to Events Manager/Head of Events with regular updates on all expects of the three events including number of attendees, income and expenditure.

To be an integral part of the Events team, attend all events, and work on other initiatives from time to time as seen fit by Head of Events.

o Knowledge of the Jewish community.

o Knowledge or Raisers Edge or another fundraising database.
