Job Description

Seeking a switched-on administrative ninja who can quickly slot into a growing fundraising team. Working with the Head of Philanthropy, your tasks will vary from diary management to donor prospecting, creating documents and reports to special project research. Fundraising experience not required – just an ability to organise, improve systems and use your initiative. This is a perfect short-term role for a self-starter in their first or second job. This will give you a hands on opportunity to liaise with stakeholders and employees at different levels both internally and externally strengthening your interpersonal skills further.


1. To liaise with both internal and external stakeholders in order to coordinate diaries and book in meetings for the Head of Philanthropy.

2. To undertake work for special projects, some of which involve collaborative working with other members of the department, or with external stakeholders

3. To offer solutions to administrative challenges and implement these to facilitate streamlined and efficient ways of working

4. To collate cultivation information from lay leaders and ensure that information is circulated back to them in a timely and structured fashion

5. To ensure that the database is up to date and all processes and procedures are adhered to, to ensure reliable data.

Who Norwood Supports



• Experience of using MS Office programmes.


• Previous experience as an administrator.

• Experience of using CRM or similar databases.

• Experience dealing with a range of stakeholders.

• Experience of working within an office environment.




• Minimum qualifications at GCSE / O levels including English and Maths.
