Work for Norwood
Norwood is a leading children's, family and learning disability charity.
Founded in 1795, Norwood enjoys the Patronage of Her Majesty The Queen. We support thousands of vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and people with learning disabilities in London and the South East.
We believe that everyone should be given the help they need to get through difficult times, achieve their best and lead a fulfilling life. Our staff and volunteers work hard to make this possible by providing whatever support is needed in a warm and caring environment.
Through our social work for children and families, expert special educational support, therapies, short-breaks, recreational activities and learning disability services for adults and young people, Norwood strives to be there for everyone who turns to us.
We offer supported living and residential care for people with learning disabilities in London and Berkshire, as well as short break schemes for children with special educational needs and disabilities in North London and Essex. We run three children and family centres with a range of support on offer in Hendon, Redbridge and Hackney, and provide special educational services to schools.
Everyone wants a job where they can make a real difference. At Norwood, we can give you just that. We'll support you to be the best you can be and inspire you to reach your full potential.
Each and every role at Norwood is an essential part of the vital support services we offer. From support workers to accountants, social workers to fundraisers, therapists to administrators, we have the job for you.
In return for your passion, enthusiasm and commitment, we offer a range of staff benefits, a pension scheme, training opportunities and a healthy work-life balance.
